MusterMate

Setting up your farm profile

How to enter your farm name, PIC number, species, and contact details.

Your farm profile is the foundation of MusterMate. It sets your farm name, PIC number, and default species so the app uses the right terminology throughout.

How to update your profile

  1. 1Go to Settings (bottom of the sidebar)
  2. 2Tap "Edit Farm Profile"
  3. 3Enter your farm name, PIC/NLIS number, state, and primary species
  4. 4Tap Save

PIC number

Your Property Identification Code (PIC) is required for NLIS movement records and for the NLIS export. It is an 8-character code (e.g. QA123456) issued by your state's agriculture department.

Your PIC is stored locally on your device and in your encrypted cloud backup. It is never shared with third parties.

Multiple properties

If you run stock across multiple properties, each can be managed as a separate paddock within the one farm profile. Multi-farm support (separate PICs, separate team access) is available on the Multi and Business plans.

Keep your livestock records on your phone

MusterMate works offline in the paddock and keeps you audit-ready for LPA, NLIS and biosecurity. Free for up to 15 animals, no credit card.
