Logging health events
How to record illness, injury, and other health observations.
Health events capture non-treatment observations — a lame animal, a suspected case of worms, a difficult calving, or a general health check. They create a timeline of each animal's health history.
Record a health event
- 1Go to Health or open an animal's detail page
- 2Tap + Health Event
- 3Select the animal or group
- 4Choose the event type: Observation, Illness, Injury, Vaccination, Check, or Other
- 5Enter the date, description, and severity
- 6Optionally set a follow-up reminder
- 7Tap Save
Follow-up reminders
If you need to check an animal again — for example, re-examine a lame sheep in 5 days — set a follow-up reminder on the health event. It will appear in your Reminders list when due.
Health events and treatment records are separate. Use treatments for any recorded medication administration, and health events for observations and checks.
