What else the label says

  • Calves born to cows that have been treated with CYDECTIN PLATINUM during pregnancy must not be slaughtered for human consumption for 20 days after treatment of the dam.
  • DO NOT re-treat animals for 20 days after last treatment.
  • EXPORT SLAUGHTER INTERVAL (ESI): DO NOT USE less than 20 days before slaughter for export.

How to count it

Count from the last treatment. An animal last treated on 1 March can't go for slaughter before 8 March (7 days later).

To read the label yourself, search the APVMA's PubCRIS register for product number 88072.

Labels get updated, so the pack in your shed may say something different. Always read the label on the product you're using, and ask your vet before using it in a way the label doesn't cover. MusterMate isn't connected with the makers of these products.
