Understanding rotation badges

What the colour-coded rotation badges mean and how to use them.

Each paddock card shows a rotation badge that tells you at a glance whether stock needs to be moved or a paddock is ready for restocking.

Badge colours โ€” occupied paddocks

  • ๐ŸŸข Green โ€” "Grazing X days" โ€” within your target graze window (or no target set)
  • ๐ŸŸ  Amber โ€” "Grazing X days" โ€” approaching target (over 80% of target)
  • ๐Ÿ”ด Red โš  โ€” "Grazing X days" โ€” over target graze days

Badge colours โ€” empty paddocks

  • ๐ŸŸข Green โ€” "Resting X days" โ€” within your target rest window
  • ๐ŸŸ  Amber โ€” "Resting X days" โ€” close to target rest
  • ๐ŸŸข Green โ€” "Ready" โ€” has rested past target (ready to restock)
  • No badge โ€” paddock has never had stock

Progress bar

A thin progress bar below the badge shows how far through the target you are. Once the bar is full, the badge turns red for grazing or green (ready) for resting.

Set target graze and rest days on each paddock in the paddock edit screen to activate the colour-coded system.
